The Shevell/Cohen family have generously donated money to Northeastern University for advancing research in cancer. Abhijit received an award of $4,000 to carry forward the research on Cancer- and chemotherapy- related neuropathic pain for 2014.

Receives the Discovery on Target Student Fellowship 2014

Discovery on Target is the industry's preeminent event on novel drug targets. The highlight of this conference is the G-protein coupled receptors and their use for therapeutics. The event features include conferences, posters, exhibits, short courses and a symposium.
Abhijit received a student fellowship to attend and present at this conference for 2014.

Receives a Travel Award for his presentation in Italy at the ICRS 2014

The International Cannabinoid Research Society's Conference is a yearly conference where all the researchers from around the world attend and present their findings to take the cannabinoid world ahead. Abhijit received a travel fellowship in order to be able to attend it.

Receives the Best Podium Presentation Award at the AAPS NERDG 2014

The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists is professional establishment connecting the researchers and scientists of America on a platform which connects academia to the industry. North-east regional discussion group 2014 was held in Connecticut and Abhijit received an award worth $1,000 for the best oral presentation.

Receives the World Pharma Congress Fellowship 2014

The World Pharma Congress was a meeting that took place in Boston where researchers from the industry and academia met and discussed the current trends in various disciplines of research. The event features include conferences, posters, exhibits, short courses and a symposium.

Dr. Ganesh Chaturbhuj, a full time faculty at UDCT, Mumbai, India receives the Singh-Obama Indo-US fellowship. With this he is here for year where he can get hands on experience in the world-class facility available here in our Lab at Northeastern University.

Receives a Post Doctoral Fellowship from Davis Foundation

Dr Pushkar Kulkarni, a post-doctoral fellow in our group received a Davis Foundation fellowship. This is a salary award and is for a period of 3 years.
