Abhijit Kulkarni
Abhijit Kulkarni is PhD student working here in the Thakur Lab since Oct 2010. He is working on the allosteric modulation of the cannabinoid CB1 receptor and the alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. He is trained as a medicinal chemist and uses his skills to synthesize and characterize compounds as well as analyse the data to build a structure-activity relationship (SAR) to obtain potent, selective and efficacious compounds of that class.
